Senara is built so that we couldn't misuse your data even if we wanted to — because we never receive it. Here's the whole picture, in plain English.
Everything you log — symptoms, factors, periods, treatments, notes, your name — is stored only on your iPhone, in Senara's private app storage. Senara has no servers, no user accounts, and no copy of your data. If you delete the app, your data is deleted with it.
With your permission, Senara reads sleep, cycle, and heart-rate data from Apple Health to save you typing. It is read-only: Senara never writes to Apple Health, and Health data is never transmitted anywhere. You can revoke access anytime in the Health app under Sharing.
On supported iPhones, the personalised wording of your insights is generated by Apple Intelligence directly on your device. Your logs are not sent to any external AI service, ours or anyone else's.
Senara contains no advertising and no trackers. We do not sell, share, rent, or monetise your personal data in any way. Health data is never used for marketing.
Payments are handled entirely by Apple through your App Store account; we never see your payment details. Anonymous purchase validation is performed by RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider, which receives only an anonymous app-generated identifier and purchase receipts — never your name, your logs, or your health data.
When you export a CSV or a doctor report PDF, the file is created on your device and goes only where you choose to share it.
You can erase everything in two taps: You → Data & privacy → Delete all my data. Because there is no server copy, deletion is immediate and total.
